Beer Permit Information

Application Requirements

New applicants are required to:

  • Submit a completed Beer Permit Application in person at City Hall to be validated.
  • Pay the required application fee in person at the time of submission.
  • Complete mandatory online training (training links will be provided by City Hall).
  • Attend a scheduled Beer Board meeting, where the application will be reviewed for approval.

 

Beer permit applications may be obtained from the City Recorder or you can download and print the document (PDF). 

Fees

  • $250.00 non-refundable application fee
  • $100.00 annual Beer Privilege Tax

Upon approval, the $100 annual Beer Privilege Tax will be prorated during the first year of operation.

Processing Time

Please allow 1–2 weeks for processing of all payments and applications.

Because the application review process can be lengthy, interested applicants are strongly encouraged to apply well in advance of opening or purchasing a business.
